I rarely make public posts. I am generally willing to take a flyer on adding people who seem like they could be interesting; however, I don't do add-backs without context (context being flexible). So please drop a comment here if you think you'd be interested in my filtered posts. They tend to be pretty mundane, though.

Dennis Kucinich is currently (8pm EDT) reading articles of impeachment against George W. Bush. According to afterdowningstreet.org*, he's reading 35 articles of impeachment. This is about everything I know about it.

*I don't know anything about this website -- I received a private email which was a repost from a listserv.

I no longer have time to read a lot of lj, so I've cut my friends list and moved other people off default view.

I'm sorry, all my tact is being used up in not writing "you have got to be fucking kidding me" on my students' papers. As one of the more experienced AIs said, "I'm not allowed to grade in public anymore."

I've just removed a few people who I'm pretty sure don't read my journal anyway from my friends list. This isn't a referendum on whether I like those people in other contexts; just whether lj is the appropriate context in which to basically like them.
